Rural Social Development
For the Future HHDF look at initiating economically sustainable social welfare initiatives towards society. The HHDF Orphanage Support Groups let an Agogo, an elder woman, to take care of and educate orphan children of the traditions and culture and to look after the welfare of the children, raising them to marry and have their own families. The Agogo is looked after by giving her knowledge of high income generating seedlings production through HHDF, taking care of the Agogo at her elder period of life.
For any individual and society education is of paramount importance. HHDF offer Adult education to everyone that is interested in developing their knowledge by investing in themselves for the future. In order to keep the HHDF Adult School economically sustainable the Adult Education has a lower fee. This cost guarantees that the program will be continuing independently from donors and therefore is engineered by Zambians for Zambians making the whole of society coming into development independently.
