Environmentally HHDF consider the regional typography, soil quality, precipitation and climate of the implementation area as well as taking into consideration the natural habitats of the area. We address the fact that natural and agriculturally imposed erosion is depleting the nutrient content of the very soils and hence the crops that are taken from the land. Precipitation causing high erosion can easily harm the fragile environment and the bio systems why we look at avoiding depletion of the soils and the crops taken from the land. We address the threat aganist the health status of the population constituted by very low micro nutrient levels in the food, resulting in weak immune system and serious health deficiency for the people. By using ground covering permacrops in combination with trees as cash crops erosion is avoided and good soil quality is maintained.
